  • Elected as Councillor in 2013 and serving as Reeve since 2021

  • On 15 committees, chairing the Sheep River Utility Corp and Foothills Regional Landfill

  • Initiated changes to provincial renewable energy with recycling, reclamation, bond requirements, agricultural components & setbacks

  • Advocated for fibre optics in industrial corridor and expansion to residents along current planned areas

  • Successfully lobbied to remove Foothills County from the Calgary Metropolitan Plan (CMRB), restoring our autonomy to make our own decisions

  • Successfully lobbied to install traffic lights at hazardous intersection on Hwy 7 & 16th Street

  • Established Rural Crime Committee

  • Advocated for secondary suites for aging family members

  • Established an Economic Development Committee, focusing on business attraction to promote development of industrial corridors

It is important that we protect our agricultural industries & rural lifestyle while managing responsible growth, supporting business development, creating jobs, and planning thoughtfully for our community for today and for generations to come.
